YES!!
after TVs fault it was his fault accepting that unfair task.
But fair is this to say that it was so hard for him to confess in front of tousends of people.
i think i would do the same.

i think my answer here is going to be "yes".because,first of all,he was protecting his reputation as he was a well respected professor.he was doing it also for the name of the family.so i think i would have confessed.
